“My wife, Ruth and I, landed in Kigali on a certain Monday morning, we were given a very warm welcome by Lifetime Africa Expeditions’ representative, thereafter we were given gifts from the company, my wife was given a very beautiful necklace made from local beads and I was given an African shirt. Thereafter we were given a detailed briefing on our upcoming safari and after some resting and refreshing time, they came to pick me from the hotel and took me to a very nice restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we went for a Kigali City tour, I was impressed by the way the City is organised and developed, one can’t tell that this is country that went through Genocide, some 20 years ago. Part of the City tour consists of a walk into the commercial area, the commonly known as Quartier Mateus, this is a car free area. My wife and I were very appreciative of the knowledge of our guide Patrick and the way he looked after us during the whole trip. In general, the trip was really amazing and we vowed to be back sometime next year. I can’t end my review without saying a word or two about Lifetime Africa Expeditions, they have these two qualities that can’t be found anywhere else; Firstly, their friendliness, upon arrival they made us feel at home, our home away from home. Secondly their creativity, the gifts they gave us upon arrival were so amazing, the walk into the city…, I would definitely recommend the company to anyone who plans to travelto Rwanda and/or Uganda”. - Ruth and John Smith.
